We make two products at the moment.

Standard inert ceramic bed support Durocel 222™ and a special bed support designed for Hydrotreating operations named Durocel 222™H.

While Durocel 222™ is already a high-quality product, for general operations, having great crushing strength, low leachable iron and spherical with narrow size distribution for maximum permeability, and minimum pressure drop.

Durocel 222™H for Hydrotreating operation has a unique high thermal shock resistance and passes the severe UOP drop test after quenching.

Thermal shock resistance is hard to come by for ceramic products in general. The unique mineral blending for Durocel 222™H,  overcomes this limit to ceramic products.

The UOP quench test, by heating the balls to 500 degrees C and dunking these in water of 75 degrees C, causes severe thermal stress, exponentially more for bigger balls.
